VendorExit.com ("VendorExit," "we," "our," or "us") provides email and system notifications related to contract tracking and account activity. This policy explains how we handle notifications and user consent.
1. Purpose of Notifications
By creating an account with VendorExit, you agree to receive emails and notifications related to:
- Contract renewal reminders
- Notice period and cancellation deadline alerts
- Account activity (login codes, verification emails)
- Security alerts
- System updates and administrative messages
These communications are considered service-related and are necessary for the operation of the platform.
2. Consent to Receive Emails
By registering for VendorExit and submitting a contract for tracking, you expressly consent to receive:
- Automated contract reminder emails (sent at 6 months, 3 months, 60 days, and 30 days before expiration)
- Transactional emails (verification codes, confirmation messages)
- System-generated alerts (cancellation deadline warnings, contract status updates)
You may not opt out of critical service-related emails (such as security alerts and login codes) while maintaining an active account.
3. Marketing Communications
VendorExit does not send promotional or marketing emails unrelated to platform functionality without explicit user consent.
If we introduce optional marketing communications in the future:
- Users will be able to opt in separately
- All marketing emails will include a clear unsubscribe link
- Opting out of marketing will not affect service-related emails
4. No Spam Commitment
VendorExit is committed to responsible email practices:
- We do not sell, rent, or share email lists with third parties
- We do not send unsolicited marketing or promotional emails
- We comply with applicable anti-spam laws, including the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL)
- All emails clearly identify VendorExit as the sender
- All emails include a valid physical mailing address or contact information
- Unsubscribe requests are honored promptly
5. Unsubscribe & Notification Controls
Users may:
- Unsubscribe from contract reminder emails at any time using the unsubscribe link included in every reminder email
- Close their account to stop all communications
- Contact us at support@mi4.com to request changes to notification preferences
Unsubscribing from reminders will stop all future contract expiration alerts for the associated contracts. Critical account emails (such as login verification codes) will continue while the account remains active.
6. Delivery Disclaimer
VendorExit is not responsible for:
- Emails filtered as spam or junk by your email provider
- Delivery delays caused by third-party mail services or network issues outside our control
- Missed reminders due to incorrect or outdated email addresses
- Users failing to monitor their inbox or act on reminders received
Users are responsible for maintaining accurate contact information and ensuring that emails from VendorExit are not blocked by their email provider.
